Spring Comes Again to Cowley County 2-3-41
It couldn’t be spring without the grand old game of marbles which Arkansas City boys enjoy as much as their fathers before them. This game was photographed during recess at the Lincoln school. In the picture are Gerald Wilson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Wilson, 1112 East Madison avenue; Charles Freeman, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Freeman, 412 South D street; Donald Winslow, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Winslow, 512 South C street; Donald Hollenback, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Hollenback, 523 South Summit street; Gale Faulkner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Faulkner, 1425 South K street; Donald Howarth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Howarth, 1315 South A street; Gordon Mathews, son of Mrs.
| Grace Shelton, 321 East Central avenue; Lowell Downing, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Downing, 525 South First street; and Billie Joe Davis, son of Mrs. Annabell Davis, 108 1-2 East Adams avenue. This is the last of a series of spring pictures published by The Traveler.
